Colonial Concert XXXVIII

November 25 • 8:00 PM

Ring in the holiday season with O.N.E. in this family concert tradition. Celebrating 38 years, our flagship, flash-back entertainment event features wigs, waistcoats, and candlelight!

This year's musical time-travel event features the “recent” and perhaps finest of Mr Haydn's great symphonies, the vocal charm of baritone Zachary Johnson (Yale School of Music), and an extraordinary slow movement from one of Mozart the Younger's “new” piano concertos.

The audience will also be wowed by the hottest popular song from Paris, composed by Jean-Paul-Egide Martini. Organist Walden Moore (Trinity Church) joins O.N.E in his 7th Colonial performance. Period high jinks ensue when the wife of the President (of the Continental Congress) arrives at the Meetinghouse, portrayed by Danielle Chaves (Yale School of Drama).

A festive, pre-concert dinner takes place at the Graduate Club just across Elm Street. Dinner tickets sold separately.
